"Bollywood Bollywood Very Very Jollywood!!! Come be a Husky in Bollywood by attending the Huskies in Bollywood meeting on Friday (February 17) after school in Ms. Robinson's room (D206) upstairs! Attention Sheldon Actors! Are you itching to be part of the hottest, hippest class on campus??? Applications for the 2017-2018 ADVANCED THEATRE class are now available from Mr. Howard in K009 or Mrs. Fox in PAC1. Stop by and pick one up or get more information on being a member of Sheldon’s Award-Winning Theatre Program! Applications are due Friday, February 17th!  (Howard 2/17)

 

Good morning FFA members, February 21-24th is National FFA week. Tuesday's theme is Pajama day, Wednesday theme is FFA day, wear official dress or National Blue and Corn Gold, Thursday is career day, dress in your future work attire, and Friday is FFA Spirit day, wear your favorite FFA shirt. Make sure to stop by Mrs Flaherty room for some snacks and to get activity points during both lunches. If you dress up for three of the four days you receive an FFA Activity Point.  (Flaherty 2/17)

Attention ARTSwork Academy students! Your next guest speaker is TUESDAY, February 21st! San Francisco Shakespeare on Tour will be with us in the PAC. “Mock Trial Round 2 Results. Sheldon’s Mock Trial team went up against Rio Americano Thursday night and lost 610 to 531. That puts us 1 and 1 moving into round 3 against Kennedy High School. Congratulations to Travis Nesmith for winning round 2’s MVP.”  (Reed 2/17)

 

“Aloha Huskies! Pacific Islanders' club is hosting our 15th annual luau in the cafeteria on Saturday, February 25, Doors open at 6 pm performances start at 7 pm. Buy presale tickets from any club member $5 for adults $3 for kids, Presale ends on Tuesday, February 21. Tickets at the door are $10 for adults $5 for kids. Class and College News

 

Seniors!  Time is running out to apply for College Financial Aid.  Complete the FAFSA before March 2nd to be considered for all types of aid.  Do you need help completing the FAFSA or the California Dream Application?  LAST CHANCE Cash For College Workshops are scheduled for February 22nd at  Luther Burbank High School, and February 28th at Cordova High School. Trained volunteers will be on hand to help you complete and submit the online form.  These are the last workshops in the Sacramento region.
